SOCAN

SOCAN is Canada’s member-based, not-for-profit music-rights organization. It serves and champions more than 185,000 music creators and publishers across Canada and worldwide, licenses music for businesses and events, collects royalties when works are used, and distributes those royalties to members and clients. SOCAN also administers performing and reproduction rights and advocates for the legal, fair, and ethical use of music and visual art.
