Safely operate oxy-fuel cutting equipment to size and prepare ferrous and non-ferrous scrap for processing and shipment. Inspect and segregate materials, identify hazards and contaminants, perform equipment inspections and basic maintenance, complete safety and production documentation, and maintain a clean work area. Collaborate with crane and heavy equipment operators in a steel mill and scrap-processing environment while following OSHA, environmental, customer, and company safety requirements.

Supports regional industrial operations through financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, KPI development, dashboards, variance analysis, ROI and capital expenditure evaluation, reporting, and acquisition due diligence. The role partners with operations leaders, supports financial close activities, improves processes, and communicates insights to management. It requires finance or accounting expertise, advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, ERP and business intelligence experience, and 25% travel.

Supports daily scrap-yard and steel mill operations by working alongside crews, coordinating tasks, maintaining workflow, and promoting safety. Assists with production projects, employee training, scheduling, and problem-solving. Provides acting supervisor coverage during absences or peak periods by directing crews and enforcing productivity and safety standards. The role requires hands-on work in a noisy, weather-exposed industrial environment with rotating 12-hour day and night shifts, weekends, and overtime.
