Teams at Smeetz

Own the backend of Smeetz’s MCP server and AI chatbot, including APIs, integrations, agent logic, guardrails, reliability, observability, and evaluation systems. Spend approximately 70% of the role on backend engineering and 30% on product collaboration, usage analysis, prioritization, and success measurement. The role requires production ownership, on-call participation, documentation, and experience shipping LLM-powered features to real users.

Develop and maintain scalable backend infrastructure using Node.js and Nest.js. Build production systems with message queues, APIs, container platforms, automated tests, monitoring, and strong security practices. Ensure backend efficiency, system integration, data integrity, and continuous deployment reliability while contributing to complex technical initiatives and legacy-system improvements.
