Teams at Smarty

Paid onsite software engineering internship developing backend and API products. Responsibilities include writing clean, efficient code; debugging and resolving root causes; testing and validating software; automating tasks with tools and scripting; and collaborating with software engineers. The role runs from January through mid-August 2027 and requires at least 15 hours per week during winter and spring terms, with additional summer hours available.

Generate new leads through phone, email, and social media outreach; conduct consultative conversations and needs assessments; explain Smarty solutions; maintain CRM records; coordinate appointments, demos, and introductions; attend occasional trade shows and conferences; and support sales-team success.

Lead and scale Smarty’s B2B SaaS sales organization by owning sales strategy, team growth, pipeline forecasting, budgeting, sales processes, compensation, enablement, and revenue performance. Partner with executive leadership, Marketing, Product, Customer Success, HR, and Finance to drive predictable growth across address validation, geocoding, and data enrichment solutions. The role is onsite in Orem, Utah.
