Develop and maintain high-volume microservices and core APIs for IoT devices. Responsibilities include managing device states and events, designing reusable device abstractions, supporting device onboarding and account integration, maintaining device-platform communication, and improving scalability, reliability, and performance for systems handling approximately 250 million events per hour.

Technical lead for the Apps & Behaviors platform powering SmartApps and automations. Design and build scalable, reliable AWS-based services, own features end-to-end (code through infrastructure and releases), improve reliability/observability, apply security-conscious design, adopt AI-assisted engineering practices, and mentor other engineers.

Lead U.S. commercial expansion for SmartThings Pro and SmartThings Energy by defining GTM strategy, embedding solutions across Samsung business units, negotiating large enterprise deals, scaling partner ecosystem and STAP program, and engaging executives to drive vertical growth and monetization.
