Lead technical strategy and architecture for SmartThings Hub Platform systems spanning embedded Linux, secure boot, firmware delivery, device attestation, cloud connectivity, and IoT fleet operations. Own complex cross-functional initiatives, guide reliability and security decisions, define AI-assisted engineering practices, mentor engineers, and participate in observability, incident response, and on-call support.

Own the SmartThings Developer Center documentation site, including Docusaurus customization, MDX components, versioning, search, analytics, and publishing pipelines. Write API documentation, SDK guides, and integration tutorials for developers. Build and enhance Developer Center features, maintain documentation quality with linters and AI tools, manage CI/CD workflows, and collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams.

Technical lead for the Apps & Behaviors platform powering SmartApps and automations. Design and build scalable, reliable AWS-based services, own features end-to-end (code through infrastructure and releases), improve reliability/observability, apply security-conscious design, adopt AI-assisted engineering practices, and mentor other engineers.
