Conduct risk assessments, remediate findings, support regulatory audits, and partner with engineering teams to embed security ownership. The role requires hands-on cloud, container, application security, automation, and DevSecOps expertise, with familiarity with CFTC safeguards expectations.

Leads Smarkets’ global commercial and marketing strategy across brand, acquisition, retention, and multiple markets. Owns the marketing budget, ROI, performance marketing, lifecycle strategy, positioning, team development, and growth metrics including CAC, LTV, ROAS, and payback. Partners with product, trading, data, and executive teams to scale a direct-to-consumer brand efficiently.

Lead the design, development, and optimization of scalable backend services in Python and Rust. Architect distributed systems, improve reliability through monitoring and alerting, enforce testing and CI/CD best practices, and contribute to backend architecture decisions. Collaborate with product and engineering teams on complex projects, mentor engineers, and ensure the performance and stability of critical platform services.
