Leads Manufacturing and Packaging Engineering teams while driving improvements in safety, quality, delivery, productivity, capacity, equipment reliability, and cost. Oversees process optimization, tooling, automation, documentation, capital projects, continuous improvement, new product introduction, packaging systems, structured problem solving, SPC, and cross-functional manufacturing initiatives. Establishes department goals, KPIs, priorities, resource plans, and capital roadmaps while developing engineering staff.

Owns full-cycle recruiting for hourly and salaried roles, including candidate screening, job postings, background and drug-screening setup, and candidate care. Builds relationships with hiring managers and staffing vendors, provides talent acquisition insights, and collaborates with marketing on employer-brand social content. This is a full-time, in-office position supporting recruitment across the organization.

Manage integrated quality and environmental management systems, including ISO and industry certifications. Schedule and conduct internal, external, customer, and supplier audits; maintain procedures, corrective actions, supplier evaluations, and regulatory compliance. Report audit and system status to management, support investigations and continuous improvement initiatives, review technical and safety issues, and recommend process changes. Lead certification activities, assist with team development, and collaborate with departments and leadership on quality policies, procedures, and goals.
