Supports airport regulatory compliance by researching laws, drafting policies, contracts, reports, and correspondence; coordinating inspections and audits; assessing regulatory risks; advising departments on procurement and compliance requirements; tracking compliance metrics; and communicating regulatory changes to leadership and stakeholders. The role requires extensive knowledge of aviation regulations, Florida statutes, federal requirements, and legal research.

Leads the Authority’s accounting operations, including general ledger management, accounts payable closing, financial reporting, budgeting, reconciliations, internal controls, and external audits. Oversees accounting staff, ensures compliance with GAAP and GASB standards, supports ERP and accounting systems, prepares financial packages and reports, and advises senior leadership on financial decisions. Assists with annual budget preparation, airline rates and charges, Board presentations, payroll reporting, policy updates, and special projects.
