Own and harden cloud and device security for a wearable robotics fleet: design PKI and device identity, secure boot and OTA pipelines, harden GCP infrastructure, build security tooling and CI/CD signing, partner with firmware teams, and support compliance readiness for regulated market entry.

Lead design, development, testing and validation of the wearable product powertrain: motor selection and control, battery management, actuator characterization, thermal modeling, firmware for motor controllers, and production-grade testing protocols. Troubleshoot system-level issues, direct contributors for key subsystems, perform on-body testing, and productize actuation systems for a broader platform.

The Hardware Reliability Engineer will oversee reliability testing for Skip's wearable devices, manage FMEA, perform environmental stress testing, and lead root cause analyses to ensure product performance in real-world conditions.
