Teams at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM)

Leads architectural project teams from design through delivery, managing client relationships, contracts, scope, schedules, budgets, billing, risk, compliance, and project profitability. Collaborates with partners, consultants, accountants, legal teams, and clients; supervises and mentors staff; supports marketing and business development; and advances sustainable design strategies and operational improvements.

Manage and develop structural BIM models and drawings, collaborate with engineers to update Revit data and schedules, guide junior BIM staff, produce CAD deliverables, implement firmwide BIM and graphic standards, and identify workflow improvements. May use Tekla, Navisworks, Rhino, Grasshopper and Dynamo as needed.

Lead technical strategy and execution for sports and entertainment projects (stadiums, arenas, training facilities). Oversee code review, systems research, specifications, construction documentation, interdisciplinary coordination, quality management, and construction administration. Serve as firmwide SME, mentor staff, support pursuits, and develop technical standards, precedent libraries, and sustainability/resilience solutions.
