Prepare and QC FFPE tissue sections using microtomy; support assay and tissue-mounting development; optimize in situ workflows; advise on tissue handling and interpretation; maintain records and write SOPs while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Maintain and develop the core sequencing analysis pipeline and operational tooling. Work on pipeline reliability, CI/CD, build/regression infrastructure, backups/uploads, panel/sample-sheet validation, concurrency controls, package management, lightweight web services and database-backed tools. Triage field issues, improve observability and documentation, and support engineering and operations across Python and JavaScript/TypeScript projects.

Perform protein expression and purification using bioreactors and ÄKTA systems, support antibody conjugation, execute QC assays (SDS-PAGE, concentration), maintain GMP-compliant documentation and batch records, troubleshoot production issues, and collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, and QC to meet production goals while following EH&S and regulatory procedures.

Produce dye-labeled NTPs and other organic compounds using established syntheses; document batch records and follow cGMP/cGDP practices; submit samples to QC; maintain inventory, lab instrumentation (LC-MS, HPLC, rotary evaporators, UV-Vis), and safety compliance; improve SOPs and support day-to-day lab operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Lead and maintain site EHS programs ensuring compliance with Cal/OSHA, OSHA, EPA, and local regulations. Conduct inspections, hazard analyses, incident investigations, hazardous waste management, permit upkeep, training, emergency preparedness, metrics reporting, and ISO9001 program ownership while partnering with labs, facilities, and leadership to embed safety and continuous improvement.
