Designs and integrates complex mechanical systems for robotics, instrumentation, medical devices, and other products. Responsibilities include CAD assemblies, drawings and GD&T, engineering calculations, prototyping, testing, manufacturing method selection, bills of materials, issue resolution, and system integration. Leads and mentors engineers, collaborates cross-functionally and with clients, coordinates external partners, and may support FEA, thermal analysis, or CFD simulations.

Designs and improves robotic hardware using structural and thermal FEA, mechanical CAD, DFx, testing, and root-cause analysis. Translates simulations into design recommendations, investigates failures, creates drawings, and supports manufacturability, cost, assembly, reliability, and safety improvements. Collaborates with clients, suppliers, and manufacturing partners while presenting technical tradeoffs and managing engineering deliverables onsite in Bellevue.

Designs and develops robotic mechanical systems, mechanisms, actuators, transmissions, end-effectors, and integrated electromechanical subsystems. Responsibilities include requirements translation, architecture, component selection, SolidWorks assemblies and drawings, tolerance analysis, prototyping, testing, troubleshooting, and design release. The engineer presents tradeoffs and technical risks while coordinating with electrical, firmware, software, and systems teams. This is a hands-on, on-site role requiring at least eight years of product-development experience.
