Supports systems administration, cybersecurity infrastructure, RMF and NIST compliance, network monitoring, backups, patching, configuration management, and security operations. Develops and deploys AI/ML tools to automate cybersecurity processes, analyzes large datasets, builds integrations and lightweight services, and maintains internal web interfaces. Collaborates with Agile teams on product development, infrastructure reliability, troubleshooting, and secure system improvements. This is an onsite internship for a Virginia college student pursuing a related bachelor’s or master’s degree.

Provides systems engineering and technical assistance for DoD AI and machine learning test and evaluation programs. Evaluates model performance and robustness, advises on testing methodologies, supports investment strategies, and assesses emerging AI, autonomy, robotics, cloud, and machine learning technologies. The role requires hands-on machine learning algorithm development, knowledge of DoD acquisition and testing environments, and familiarity with major test ranges and related investment programs.

The Integration Specialist ensures interoperability between border security technologies, develops interface specifications, and supports system integration testing and validation.
