Requires multi-GHz RF hardware experience, RF simulation tools, and hands-on troubleshooting of harmonics, spurious emissions, stability, and EMI issues. Designs and develops RF subsystems for MANET radios, including RFIC and discrete circuitry such as PLLs, LNAs, mixers, and power amplifiers. Responsibilities include schematic capture, PCB layout, RF characterization, tuning, troubleshooting, EMI and regulatory compliance, production yield improvement, and design-for-manufacturability. The role is fully onsite in West Los Angeles with rare local travel.

Tests and verifies multi-GHz RF subsystems for MANET communications products. Responsibilities include operating and calibrating RF test equipment, executing tests, creating verification matrices and reports, analyzing results, troubleshooting EMI and signal issues, designing test fixtures, and improving test strategies. The role is fully onsite in Rancho Bernardo/North San Diego and requires occasional local travel.
