Coordinates resident assessments, including admission, annual, quarterly, Medicare, and change-of-condition MDS assessments. Ensures regulatory compliance, accurate documentation, timely data submission, care plan updates, quality reporting, and interdisciplinary communication. Reviews records, manages ancillary data, participates in care meetings, and supports resident-centered care. Requires a current nursing license, geriatric nursing experience, strong assessment and documentation skills, and knowledge of nursing home regulations.

Directs nursing aides, administers medications and treatments, implements care plans, transcribes physician orders, documents resident care, completes assessments, supports shift reporting, educates staff, maintains safety and infection-control standards, and addresses staffing shortages. Requires an RN or LVN license in good standing, strong clinical assessment and documentation skills, effective communication, organization, emergency responsiveness, and attention to detail.

Supports long-term-care facility financial and administrative operations, including accounts receivable, billing, insurance claims, resident trust funds, deposits, payer updates, admissions verification, collections, documentation, and office administration. Communicates with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders, assists with team training, and participates in interdisciplinary meetings while ensuring compliance with financial, resident-rights, and safety policies.
