Leads facility accounting for plant operations, including monthly close, financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, cost accounting, CapEx evaluations, inventory reconciliation, and AP/AR. Audits bills of materials, labor routings, and pricing codes; monitors manufacturing costs and inventory exposure; ensures GAAP compliance and strong internal controls. Partners with plant and corporate leadership to provide financial insights, support operational decisions, and maintain confidentiality.

Develops and monitors facility safety programs, conducts inspections, training, emergency drills, accident investigations, and hazard assessments. Maintains OSHA records, safety documentation, chemical inventories, SDS audits, and workers’ compensation information. Coordinates regulatory inspections, safety committee meetings, first aid and CPR training, hearing tests, and corrective-action implementation. Ensures compliance with OSHA, AKOSH, EPA, and company standards while promoting a safe workplace and reducing injuries.

Leads on-site HR operations for a multi-entity seafood organization, advising managers and employees on workplace matters, investigations, performance management, compliance, benefits, leave, payroll, safety, recruiting, and onboarding. Ensures compliance with federal and multi-state employment laws, maintains audit-ready records, supports audits and process improvement, and partners with corporate teams. The role requires strong judgment, communication, regulatory expertise, and hands-on support at the West Seattle facility.
