Develop and maintain reliable Java backend features for the ReadID SaaS platform. Deploy and monitor containerized services on Kubernetes and GCP or AWS, improve CI/CD pipelines, write tested clean code, support release validation, automate infrastructure, troubleshoot incidents, and improve observability. Participate in agile ceremonies, code reviews, knowledge sharing, and periodic 24/7 on-call support.

Design, develop, scale, and secure the ReadID SaaS platform using Java, cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices. Responsibilities include backend engineering, multi-region container orchestration, CI/CD and progressive delivery, automated rollbacks, testing, observability, infrastructure as code, operational optimization, and incident support. The role also involves architectural ownership, cross-functional collaboration, and periodic 24/7 on-call participation.

Provides technical customer support during service disruptions through alert and ticket triage, initial troubleshooting, escalation, status-page management, customer notifications, incident reports, and inbound communications. Participates in postmortems, maintains support playbooks and knowledge bases, and handles regular support tickets. The role requires shift work, overnight and weekend on-call coverage, clear English communication, and hybrid work in Vilnius.
