Program, set up, and operate CNC and manual mills and lathes to produce quality machined parts. Enter and verify machine instructions, set tool offsets, calculate dimensions and tolerances, inspect first-run and sample workpieces, adjust cutting parameters, maintain equipment and records, and support machining department supervision while meeting safety and quality standards.

Provides technical application and product engineering support to sales teams and customers. Supports customer design changes, requirements gathering, new product development, product launches, quality audits, code compliance, and product testing. Acts as a liaison among customers, sales, manufacturing, quality, engineering, and regulatory organizations. Conducts customer visits and focus groups, analyzes market feedback, monitors UL/CSA and NEC requirements, and develops product literature and instructional videos.

Operates foundry furnaces to melt and pour metal alloys according to work orders and metallurgical specifications. Responsibilities include verifying materials, selecting melt procedures, monitoring temperatures, skimming slag, collecting samples, adjusting equipment controls, recording production data, inspecting defects, and following safety and quality procedures. The role requires physical work, including frequent standing and lifting up to 50 pounds. Prior melt experience is preferred, but training is available.
