Design
Designs, develops, tests, troubleshoots, and integrates complex electrical and PCB-based hardware for autonomous defense systems. Responsibilities include schematic capture, PCB layout, power and embedded electronics design, circuit analysis, board bring-up, qualification testing, hardware debugging, root-cause analysis, and production support. The engineer collaborates cross-functionally through the full product lifecycle and uses laboratory equipment, communication protocols, and technical documentation to deliver reliable hardware.
Design
Develop and scale manufacturing processes for advanced hardware prototypes from concept through pilot production. Lead DFM/DFx, system integration, process validation, tooling, fixtures, documentation, and quality control initiatives. Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and external manufacturers across electromechanical, polymer, adhesive, lamination, and textile processes. Troubleshoot manufacturing challenges, drive continuous improvement, mentor junior engineers, and provide technical leadership in a fast-paced R&D environment.
Design
Lead development and scaling of manufacturing processes for advanced hardware prototypes through pilot production. Drive DFM/DFx, process validation (DOE), tooling, work instructions, quality control, troubleshoot production issues, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to grow in-house manufacturing capabilities.
