Build and shape an early-stage SaaS platform for lab testing and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include full-stack development, collaborating with the founding engineer and customers, making systems architecture decisions, evaluating technical trade-offs, and implementing security best practices. The role requires autonomous 0-to-1 execution and offers significant ownership over architecture and critical product features.

Build and evolve a SaaS platform for lab testing and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include full-stack development, systems architecture, technical trade-off evaluation, security implementation, and close collaboration with founders and customers during early-stage product development.

Lead the engineering of AI initiatives, architect stacks, prompt engineer LLMs, and mentor engineers. Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver products from concept to production.

Lead one or more software project teams end-to-end: set technical direction, mentor engineers, architect solutions, review code, hire, and partner with product, design, and clients to deliver production-ready AI and web/mobile products. Stay hands-on in code while shaping engineering culture and processes.

Be the company's first technical hire: audit and own the existing codebase, design architecture and DB schema, build end-to-end features with Python/FastAPI and Next.js, implement real-time WebSocket functionality, manage deployments on Railway, write tests, set engineering standards, and collaborate daily with the founder to evolve product and team.

Lead and grow the engineering organization; define and execute technical strategy; provide architecture and infrastructure leadership; recruit and mentor engineers; align engineering with product and business priorities; own planning, delivery, reliability, and operational excellence while remaining technically engaged.

Own the Creative Engine product: define data models, pipelines, and queryable insights tying creative signals to performance. Partner with strategists and engineers to spec dashboards, Slack/Cowork integrations, structured tests, and reusable creative assets to drive data-driven creative decisions.

Build the data foundation and LLM analysis layer for a Creative Engine: ingest and structure multi-platform performance and sales data, run video analysis with Gemini and Claude, implement semantic search with pgvector, connect signals into a queryable intelligence layer, integrate platform APIs, and own full-stack features (Django + HTMX + Tailwind) with async pipelines (Celery + Redis).

Lead engineering initiatives, architect software stacks, mentor team members, and collaborate with product managers to deliver products from idea to production.
