Acquire property rights, easements, and access agreements for transportation, utility, and municipal infrastructure projects. Research property and title information, prepare acquisition documents, negotiate with landowners, coordinate with technical and legal teams, represent the company at meetings, and track acquisition schedules and documentation. The role supports clients throughout right-of-way acquisition and requires travel across Minnesota, a valid driver's license, and eligibility for a Minnesota Real Estate License.

The Assistant Controller leads accounting operations, monthly and annual close processes, financial reporting, audits, treasury activities, GAAP compliance, and internal controls. The role prepares management reports, supports budgeting and forecasting, monitors cash and covenants, evaluates accounting standards, and partners with leadership on financial strategy and process improvements. Responsibilities also include leading, developing, and mentoring accounting staff and collaborating with external auditors and operations teams.

Lead and grow an electrical engineering group (~10 staff) for municipal and industrial projects. Provide technical oversight on power distribution, controls, arc flash, lighting, and backup systems; mentor staff; support proposals and client relationships; ensure profitable, on-schedule project delivery and QA/QC compliance.
