Manufacturing Engineer responsible for resolving tooling and production issues, improving machining processes, conducting tool trials, updating technical documentation, and delivering cost, safety, quality, and throughput improvements. The role manages tooling spend, develops reconditioning systems, supports cross-functional plant teams, and implements improved tooling designs and cost-reduction plans.

Programs and maintains Zeiss CMMs, develops measurement methods, performs quality-control inspections against drawing specifications, and reports results. Coordinates troubleshooting, maintenance, certifications, repairs, upgrades, gage tracking, and communications among measurement systems and reporting tools. Documents nonconformances, corrective actions, and continuous improvements while supporting production schedules, safety, customer requirements, and management reporting.

Provides hands-on safety support for an outdoor solar construction project. Responsibilities include monitoring jobsite conditions, reinforcing PPE and safety rules, addressing basic hazards, conducting orientations and toolbox talks, reporting incidents and near misses, coordinating first aid within training limits, and escalating serious or uncertain issues. The position lasts six months and requires strong observation, communication, dependability, and comfort working independently.
