Senior Credit Manager in the 2nd Line of Defence overseeing credit risk for Commercial Investment Real Estate, Specialty Finance and Asset Based Lending. Chairs credit approval committee, holds delegated lending authority, manages and develops a sector-focused credit risk team, monitors portfolio performance, ensures policy compliance, prepares committee papers, and drives process improvements and quality assurance across 1st and 2nd Line credit activities.

Lead and manage the Group tax function, ensuring compliance across corporation tax, VAT, PAYE and returns. Develop tax strategy, advise senior management and board on tax implications of transactions, oversee tax accounting and reporting, manage audits and HMRC relationships, and implement tax controls and technology solutions.

Responsible for month-end accounting, reconciliations and general ledger close for SME portfolios. Manage loan balances, EIR accounting, consolidation of SME subsidiaries and third-party forward flow portfolios. Provide technical support for new products/acquisitions, drive control and process improvements, support audits, and build strong cross-functional relationships.
