Senior originator responsible for developing independent sponsor relationships, identifying opportunities, structuring and executing complex leveraged and acquisition finance facilities, and underwriting businesses, sponsors, and equity certainty. The role leads deal teams, manages client relationships through diligence and completion, prepares or oversees credit papers, evaluates risk, and contributes to origination, profitability, governance, and team development within ThinCats’ corporate leverage business.

Manages the North East UK region and broker or introducer relationships for commercial lending. Develops regional sales strategies, recruits and develops distribution partners, increases conversions, manages pipelines, and drives profitable business production. Provides product and underwriting guidance, market intelligence, broker training, and feedback to credit, product, sales, and marketing teams. Requires strong commercial mortgage knowledge, financial services sales experience, relationship management, compliance awareness, and the ability to analyze financial and credit information.

Leads leveraged finance and financial sponsor lending activity, including transaction origination, structuring, execution, credit analysis, financial modeling, due diligence, negotiations, and risk management. Manages sponsor and intermediary relationships, prepares pitches and credit papers, presents to credit committees, supports legal completion, mentors junior staff, and ensures regulatory and compliance standards are maintained.
