Performs field assessments, hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, sediment transport and erosion studies, floodplain modeling, and design of habitat restoration and hydraulic structures. Prepares plans, specifications, estimates, reports, proposals, and project budgets. Provides construction observation, technical support, client development, and project management. The role requires fieldwork in varied weather and terrain, travel to project sites, strong communication skills, and proficiency with civil design, GIS, and hydraulic modeling software.

Leads the CAD team within a multidisciplinary engineering firm, overseeing drafting production, CAD standards, templates, quality control, project timelines, and workload delegation. Produces geotechnical and construction drawings using Autodesk, Bentley, GIS, survey, lidar, and 3D modeling data. Coordinates with engineers, scientists, project managers, field staff, IT, and software support. Trains staff, maintains CAD systems and file organization, and supports projects across offices while following quality, health, and safety policies.

Run and supervise geotechnical soils laboratory testing (gradations, Atterberg limits, compaction, triaxial, consolidation, ring shear). Maintain lab accreditation, calibrations, equipment, and process test data. Supervise technicians, communicate results with clients and staff, follow QA and safety policies, and support travel to field sites and other offices.
