SGI Benefits Overview

Processes commercial auto insurance applications, renewals, revisions, cancellations, quotes, and policy changes. Calculates premiums, applies rates and adjustments, evaluates routine risks, and determines whether to accept, modify, or escalate underwriting decisions. Supports underwriting administration, maintains records, communicates criteria and decisions to brokers, develops broker relationships, promotes supporting products, and assists with resolving service matters while following insurance, reinsurance, subscription, and legislative guidelines.

Monitors, evaluates, calculates, and coordinates income replacement benefits for injury claims. Reviews employment and tax information, determines eligibility and payouts, maintains reserves and reports, handles escalated inquiries and appeals, performs peer reviews, supports claims-system improvements, and trains staff on benefit processes and legislation.

Dismantles salvaged vehicles, evaluates and tests reusable automotive parts, verifies vehicle and claim information, and prepares parts for inventory or shipment. The role also stocks, ships, receives, and quality-checks parts; updates the yard management system; operates forklifts, bobcats, hoists, and other equipment; and maintains safe, organized work areas while meeting production goals.
