Leads and implements union organizing campaigns, supervises and evaluates staff, recruits and trains personnel, develops campaign plans and budgets, oversees administration and expenditures, mentors organizing staff, and works with union leaders and members in field-based assignments. The role requires independent judgment, leadership, irregular hours, and travel, including temporary assignments away from home.

Lead bargaining, contract campaigns, and industry strategy across multiple bargaining units. Serve as lead negotiator, develop bargaining strategies, coach and supervise staff, coordinate cross-department campaigns, advise on grievances/arbitrations, and manage stakeholder relationships to strengthen member power and enforce contracts.

The Organizer assists in union operations by answering calls, supporting members, providing resources, and engaging in civic activities.
