Coordinates participant training opportunities at a workforce career center. Acts as liaison among customers, career coaches, and training providers; verifies and uploads documentation; creates training events and ITAs; monitors participant progress, retention, and completion; maintains case records and reporting; provides referrals; and stays current on WIOA requirements, labor markets, and occupational trends.

Performs general accounting activities for a charter school, including bank reconciliations, journal entries, accounts payable, general ledger maintenance, month-end and year-end closing, financial statement preparation, budgeting, reporting, and audit support. The role requires knowledge of GAAP, school or government fund accounting, Michigan education regulations, accounting software, and Microsoft Office. It reports to the Director of Finance and does not supervise staff.

Directs the finance and accounting department, overseeing general ledger operations, reconciliations, accounts receivable, budgeting, grant accounting, tax compliance, audits, risk management, financial reporting, record retention, and staff training. Provides strategic financial leadership, ensures regulatory and organizational compliance, manages accounting personnel, and supports organizational operations and special projects.

Coordinates adult-services programs, partnerships, outreach, funding research, service-plan implementation, compliance, participant progress, reporting, and performance monitoring. Supports program development, grant activities, audits, corrective actions, and policy improvements while supervising staff and collaborating with unions, employers, educators, job seekers, and community organizations. Requires bilingual Spanish-English communication and occasional travel to external locations.

Manages budgets and contract finances, including budget preparation, forecasting, variance monitoring, invoicing, reconciliations, collections, audits, and budget revisions. Partners with program managers, subcontractors, auditors, vendors, and funding sources to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance. Supports corporate and proposal budgeting while resolving billing issues and monitoring expenditure benchmarks.
