Teams at Sentry

Leads and grows a team of Technical Support Engineers, owns support metrics and escalation processes, and develops AI-assisted support systems. Partners with Engineering, Product, Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, and Sales to resolve enterprise issues and turn customer feedback into product, documentation, SDK, and process improvements. The role combines people management, technical debugging, support strategy, customer communication, and hands-on leadership.

Design, operate, and improve foundational storage systems supporting Sentry’s products. Build storage APIs and abstractions, solve distributed consistency and scaling challenges, plan migrations, optimize performance and cost, and collaborate with platform and product engineering teams. Develop primarily in Rust and Python, create advanced reliability tests, maintain observability and availability SLOs, respond to incidents, document technical decisions, and participate in on-call rotation.

Design, operate, and improve distributed storage systems supporting Sentry’s products. Build APIs and abstractions for reliable data access, solve consistency and scalability challenges, plan migrations, optimize performance and costs, and collaborate with infrastructure and product teams. Write primarily Rust and Python, develop chaos-testing scenarios, maintain SLOs and monitoring, support incident response, and participate in on-call rotation.
