Manages the pipeline and marketing of affordable housing loan funds across three North Carolina geographies. Responsibilities include prospective borrower communications, financial and project vetting, stakeholder relationship development, loan documentation support, program process management, compliance and data tracking, budget and meeting coordination, and credit team support. The role also assists with outreach, term sheets, reporting, and strategic process improvements.

Manage mortgage document custody, collateral file audits, quality control testing, regulatory and GSE compliance, repurchase reviews, and deficiency analysis. The role maintains audit trails, monitors documentation and repurchase trends, supports internal and external examinations, and coordinates with lending, servicing, legal, compliance, and secondary marketing teams. It also oversees third-party custodians, develops sampling methodologies, and recommends process improvements.

Leads regional deposit-raising, community outreach, investor and depositor relationships, and commercial lending opportunity development. Builds partnerships with mission-aligned organizations, markets loans and deposits, represents Self-Help publicly, coordinates proposals and impact due diligence, supports branch staff, and advances economic inclusion initiatives. The role requires extensive relationship development, community development finance expertise, presentations, strategic marketing collaboration, and engagement with underserved communities.
