Lead the independent Risk Management Unit for a new regulated futures exchange. Develop and maintain the FCM Risk Management Program, establish exposure and trading limits, monitor margin, credit, liquidity, capital, counterparty, settlement, and operational risks, conduct stress testing, oversee liquidation risk, prepare regulatory reports, and assess new products and clearing relationships.

Monitor real-time and post-trade activity for manipulation, fraud, disruptive trading, and rule violations. Investigate alerts, reconstruct orders and trades, document findings, conduct participant inquiries, and prepare cases for enforcement or regulatory review. Help build surveillance procedures, case-management workflows, alert tuning, automation, and DCM Core Principle readiness. The role includes coverage for a 24/7 market with possible weekend and off-hours rotations.

Own daily futures commission merchant operations, including trade capture, clearing, reconciliations, margin processing, settlements, customer funds, account lifecycle, vendors, controls, resilience, and regulatory examinations. Build procedures and the operating model from launch, partner with Compliance, Risk, Finance, and Engineering, resolve operational exceptions, and scale the team as trading volume grows.
