Build and maintain IDRE, a healthcare payment dispute platform, across frontend and backend systems. Own transaction logic for disputed claims, settlement calculations, and payment records. Develop with React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, Python, and AWS; improve services, observability, and CI/CD. Ensure HIPAA-grade handling of sensitive data, clarify ambiguous requirements, and deliver features end-to-end in a fast-paced startup environment.

Build and ship backend and server-rendered frontend features using Python, Flask, relational databases, and REST APIs. Partner directly with the client and another senior engineer, own work end-to-end, communicate timelines and risks, participate in scoping, and ramp quickly into an existing codebase and client relationship.

Supports the Internal Audit Manager by independently planning and executing audit engagements, testing controls, reviewing documentation, identifying exceptions, and documenting findings. The role also helps establish audit templates, workpapers, and methodology for a new internal audit function. Responsibilities include Excel-based data analysis, written communication of findings, policy compliance assessment, confidentiality, and professional skepticism. This is a fully remote individual contributor role for a US-based candidate.
