Supports the Human Resources team and employees with HR inquiries, recruitment, onboarding, background checks, employee records, compliance, and administrative projects. Manages the HR department’s shared email and phone line, communicates policies and procedures, maintains SharePoint content, assists with HRIS and employee data, and provides backup support for I-9s, workers’ compensation, leave tracking, and audits.

Process and enter new life insurance applications, review for accuracy, communicate with agents and applicants, coordinate with underwriting, issue and mail policies, cancel declined/expired applications, and process plan change journal entries and premium refunds.

Provide logistical and client-facing support for funerals: transport and prepare deceased, set up services, handle paperwork, greet and assist families, maintain vehicles and facility, coordinate vendors, and perform physical tasks requiring lifting and flexible hours.
