Executes standardized People Operations workflows, including onboarding, offboarding, HRIS data maintenance, reporting, employee support, compliance documentation, and recruiting administration. Maintains accurate employee records, prepares reports, responds to routine HR inquiries, tracks required forms and activities, and escalates discrepancies or sensitive issues. The role follows established SOPs and supports a reliable employee experience under the guidance of senior People Operations leadership.

Lead a 51-person Impact Team and serve on the executive team to expand and deepen community food programs, partnerships, policy and outreach. Drive strategic planning, oversee program delivery and client connections to services (e.g., SNAP), and guide transition to a new 215,000 sq. ft. facility to increase impact, equity, and sustainability across Silicon Valley.

Manage end-to-end accounts payable: process invoices (PO/DO), employee reimbursements and credit card expenses, maintain AP coding and paperless filing, prepare 1099s, support month-end close and annual audit preparation, train staff/volunteers, and assist with PO system implementation.

Lead a county-focused programs team (5–6 direct reports) to manage partner relationships, ensure equitable food distribution, maintain compliance with USDA/Feeding America standards, oversee ERP/CRM data hygiene, develop procedures, and represent Second Harvest in the field (~20% travel). Hire, coach, and drive program improvements.
