Designs and optimizes injection molding and assembly processes for contract manufacturing. Manages projects from planning through production, supports equipment procurement and installation, leads new product development and lean improvement initiatives, and develops fixtures, automation, work instructions, SOPs, and training. Collaborates across engineering, supply chain, sales, and operations to improve quality, safety, productivity, and cost efficiency while ensuring compliance with ISO 13485 and FDA requirements.

Quality Engineer responsible for maintaining and improving quality management systems across multiple manufacturing facilities. Leads audits, APQP, PPAPs, FAIRs, validations, CAPA and customer complaint resolution. Supports continuous improvement, process transfer to production, inspection activities, drawing reviews, and compliance with ISO, AS9100, and NADCAP requirements. Mentors quality personnel and collaborates with engineering, operations, program management, and customers. Requires manufacturing quality experience, injection molding knowledge, statistical analysis skills, and 20% travel.

Drive injection mold tooling from concept through completion, including design for manufacturability, CAD modification, mold flow analysis, design approval, scheduling, customer communication, and production approval. Sustain existing tooling by coordinating repairs and improvements, troubleshoot technical issues, support quotes, and maintain tooling documentation. The role requires strong plastic injection molding expertise, CAD proficiency, project management, communication skills, and the ability to lift 50 pounds.
