Participate in a comprehensive sales operations training program covering sales channels, product management, supply chain, business intelligence, logistics, and plant operations. Analyze sales and industry data, identify profitability opportunities, support negotiations, coordinate product delivery, and understand production constraints. Develop communication, leadership, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills in preparation for a future sales role.

Direct new business development and sales growth for fresh and frozen pork products. Build customer relationships, visit customers, analyze market supply and demand, resolve product specification complaints with production and QA, guide sales team members, provide account coverage, and identify market expansion opportunities. The role requires knowledge of pork products and packing plant operations, with 40% to 50% travel to plants and customers.

Supports supply chain operations by analyzing transportation and warehousing spend, auditing carrier and warehouse rates, validating freight costs, and developing reporting and optimization tools. The role maintains transportation management systems, improves invoicing processes, identifies excessive spending and non-conformance costs, and partners with sales, transportation, plant operations, and scheduling teams to implement cost and efficiency improvements.
