Leads Sibelco’s global energy category, managing approximately €150 million in annual spend. Develops sourcing, contracting, hedging, and renewable energy strategies; negotiates with suppliers; analyzes energy markets, consumption, contracts, price exposure, and hedge positions; and provides quantified recommendations to senior stakeholders. Collaborates internationally with Finance, Operations, Sustainability, Legal, Procurement, and external energy advisors while tracking savings, risk, forecasts, and budget impact.

Supervise site maintenance operations, coordinate internal technicians and contractors, manage preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment, enforce safety procedures, monitor KPIs, support root-cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement. Lead and develop maintenance personnel while ensuring equipment reliability, production availability, and compliance with company standards.

Supervise daily quarry production and mining-area operations, support scheduled production activities, conduct field measurements and sampling, perform technical and safety controls, report equipment or operational issues, and work assigned shifts. The role requires mining-related education, field readiness, occupational safety awareness, MS Office proficiency, a Class B driver’s license with SRC 4 certification, and preferably blasting certification and mining-sector experience.
