Own Scout’s finance, vendor, people, legal, reporting, and internal operations. Personally execute recurring administrative work, then automate, redesign, or eliminate those processes using software, AI tools, scripts, and no-code systems. The role requires operating effectively amid ambiguity, documenting workflows, writing clearly, and building scalable systems in a fast-growing startup. This is an in-office NYC role, five days per week.

Own the full sales cycle for Scout’s AI-native student information system, including self-sourced pipeline generation, outbound prospecting, discovery, lengthy product demonstrations, champion development, deal closing, pilot oversight, implementation coordination, and expansion. The role targets K-12 schools and requires building an early go-to-market playbook, managing a $20,000 monthly budget, attending industry events, and closing a self-sourced pilot within three months.

Build and own full-stack features across web, mobile, and backend applications, from customer discovery and requirements through MVP delivery, iteration, and scalable production releases. Contribute to technical vision and product direction, participate in sales and customer calls, help customers configure and adopt the product, and take broad ownership in an early-stage startup environment.
