Support safe navigation and cargo/ballast operations during watch, maintain and inspect life-saving and firefighting equipment, follow SOLAS/MARPOL/flag regulations, and contribute to environmental compliance and operational safety.

Assist with safe operation, maintenance, lubrication, and housekeeping of ship engines and engine-room machinery. Stand engine-room watches, support routine maintenance and inventory, follow SOLAS/MARPOL and company safety/environmental procedures, and use hand and power tools to support engineering staff.

Ensure safe navigation and cargo/ballast operations in compliance with SOLAS, MARPOL and flag regulations. Prepare passage plans, conduct watchkeeping, maintain bridge and GMDSS equipment, manage waste and medical inventory, support environmental protection, and act as an effective bridge team member with strong communication and leadership.
