Teams at Science North

Engages visitors through science centre experiences, underground tours, school programs, workshops, and special events. Develops and evaluates public programming, coordinates demonstrators and volunteers, maintains exhibits and supplies, troubleshoots daily operations, and enforces safety protocols. Requires excellent English and French communication, presentation, teamwork, leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills. The role is full-time, on-site, includes weekday and weekend work, and is offered as a 12-month contract.

Supports integrated marketing campaigns, social media, media relations, communications, events, exhibitions, and audience engagement initiatives. Responsibilities include writing and editing content, coordinating timelines and marketing calendars, tracking budgets and campaign performance, supporting events, collaborating with designers, maintaining brand consistency, and researching audiences and marketing trends across Science North and Dynamic Earth.

Supports a broad HR portfolio spanning employee experience, benefits and pension administration, recruitment, employee recognition, health and safety, training records, employment grants, HR systems, and employee relations. Partners with managers, employees, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver workforce programs, maintain compliance records, coordinate recruitment marketing, administer benefits, and support organizational initiatives.
