Teams at Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL)

Supports technicians in repairing, testing, troubleshooting, and servicing SEL power-system products. Follows established procedures, communicates status to staff and customers, documents work, improves instructions, and develops proficiency across troubleshooting, product hospital, test floor support, and test lab disciplines. The role requires teamwork, strong communication, Windows and Microsoft Office skills, and the ability to meet physical requirements and pass background and drug screening.

Develop and support full-stack software for automated manufacturing systems. Design React frontends and C#/.NET backends, integrate MES and ERP platforms, interface with factory equipment, and build resilient distributed applications. Responsibilities include software specification, implementation, deployment, testing, documentation, process improvement, and serving as a technical contact for internal customers.

Supervise manufacturing employees on the swing shift, provide direction, coaching, feedback, training, and performance reviews. Coordinate upstream and downstream product flow, manage work instructions and reports, address personnel issues, and support production objectives. Apply root-cause analysis and continuous improvement tools to resolve quality issues, promote safety, and implement manufacturing principles.
