Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) Benefits Overview

Performs power system studies and supports the design, configuration, validation, installation, commissioning, and operation of automation and protection systems. Prepares functional specifications, technical documentation, reports, checklists, and test deliverables while managing work to scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety standards. Trains and assists customers, collaborates with project teams, and applies knowledge of electric power systems, protective relays, communications, and controls. Requires at least 25% domestic and international travel.

Design software products end to end, create intuitive workflows and data visualizations, conduct UX research and validation, apply interaction and visual design principles, and collaborate with designers, researchers, product managers, and developers on complex enterprise and power-grid systems.

Develop and maintain product expertise for electric power system products, support sales and marketing, define product requirements, coordinate development priorities, create technical documentation, conduct validation testing, present technical information, and contribute to new product concepts. The role requires electrical engineering knowledge, technical marketing experience, strong communication skills, and travel up to 25%.
