Teams at Scholastic

Manage an assigned territory of K-12 school and district accounts to drive sales of Scholastic Education solutions. Build relationships with educators and district leaders, conduct needs assessments, present programs, track activity in Salesforce/CRM, run outbound campaigns and virtual events, collaborate with field sales and internal teams, and support fulfillment and implementation. Travel ~20% for customer support and conferences.

Supports the special markets sales team and commissioned gift sales representatives by managing sales materials, title presentations, event and author orders, price and attribute updates, Smart Returns data, cooperative advertising uploads, sample mailings, and cross-functional communication. The role requires strong organization, communication, analytical skills, attention to detail, Microsoft Office proficiency, and the ability to prioritize deadlines independently.

Supports special-markets sales accounts, commissioned gift representatives, and in-house sales teams. Responsibilities include preparing title presentations, coordinating event and author orders, researching industry opportunities, maintaining account terms, managing samples and sales materials, and collaborating with customer service, marketing, publicity, and trade sales support teams. The role is entry-level and based in New York City with at least two office days per week.
