Lead mechanical design for tier 2-4 machine projects in a design-build manufacturing environment. Develop mechanisms, integrate third-party subsystems, mentor junior engineers, create standards and training materials, requisition components, support installation/startup and field service, and ensure projects meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards. Travel to customer sites (~20%) as needed.

Design and develop machinery and subsystems for end-of-line packaging solutions. Create mechanical designs, integrate ancillary equipment, execute projects to budget and schedule, support installation/startup and field service, communicate with stakeholders, recommend process improvements, and travel to customer sites (~10-20%).

Set up, program, and operate CNC machines to produce steel, aluminum, stainless steel, and plastic parts to engineering specifications. Interpret blueprints, perform in-process inspections, use precision measuring tools, program for efficiency and quality, collaborate with engineering/supervisor, complete paperwork, and suggest process improvements.
