Provides advanced server and infrastructure engineering for a remote MSP. Administers Windows and Linux systems, virtualization, identity, Microsoft 365, cloud, storage, backup, monitoring, and disaster recovery platforms. Leads escalated incident resolution, root cause analysis, change management, security reviews, automation, client onboarding, and proactive infrastructure improvements. Supports P1/P2 outages, vendors, documentation, and rotating after-hours coverage while mentoring junior engineers and responsibly using AI tools.

Administer and optimize the LogicMonitor monitoring platform across servers, networks, applications, cloud resources, and APIs. Responsibilities include device onboarding, alert and threshold tuning, DataSource development, platform troubleshooting, ServiceNow integrations, automation, reporting, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration. The role requires scripting with Groovy, Java, Python, and PowerShell, plus expertise in infrastructure monitoring, REST APIs, Azure, AWS, SNMP, WMI, and enterprise systems. This is a permanent night-shift, work-from-home position.

Provides Level 3 technical support by remediating monitoring alerts, security vulnerabilities, missing patches, hardware and software issues, and infrastructure updates. Troubleshoots Windows servers, networks, Hyper-V, and VMware environments; supports remote deployments and emergency outages; performs after-hours changes; documents resolutions; creates technical documentation; and recommends process improvements. Requires permanent night-shift availability and willingness to work remotely long term.
