Teams at SCA

Provides visitor services at a national forest district office by answering phones, engaging with visitors, and sharing current road, weather, and recreation conditions. May sell partner items using a cash register and credit card machine and maintain the front desk area. The role requires organization, communication skills, adaptability, and the ability to work with diverse people in a remote setting with limited transportation and cell service.

Support internal communications and employee engagement by creating and distributing internal newsletters and content, assisting with presentations and visual storytelling, organizing staff events, analyzing engagement metrics, and contributing to DEI and communications initiatives. Provide administrative support for communications projects and help improve internal information sharing and staff connection across the organization.

Engage park visitors to prevent natural and cultural resource damage, provide education, identify concerns, use radios, and deliver public presentations. Support resource management, interpretation, visitor protection, and other park operations while working independently and with teams in hot, sunny coastal conditions.
