Teams at Save the Children International

Manages IT operations, infrastructure, systems, cybersecurity, data protection, backups, technical support, disaster recovery, and IT policy implementation for Save the Children’s Syria country office. Oversees IT staff, budgets, user accounts, training, inventory, service availability, business continuity, and compliance with organizational and data protection requirements. Coordinates with global and regional teams, supports field offices, and provides emergency technology solutions.

Manages budgeting, donor reporting, partner and sub-award financial oversight, compliance, reconciliations, and audit support. The role prepares budget-versus-actual analyses, reviews partner proposals and financial reports, monitors advances and expenditures, ensures donor and organizational policies are followed, supports grant closeouts, conducts partner field visits, and provides financial training and guidance to program teams and partners.

Supports daily treasury and finance operations, including accounts payable, payment execution, cash and liquidity management, bank reconciliation, month-end closing, tax compliance, audit preparation, and banking administration. Maintains bank records, payment controls, mandates, and cash forecasts while supporting ERP improvements, reporting, and process digitization. Collaborates with Finance, Programs, Fundraising, Grants, banks, and external payment providers.
