Early-stage AI startup seeking an ex-YC founder to join a 15-person team in San Francisco full-time. Role is flexible (engineering, product, or growth), requires hands-on startup experience, willingness to wear multiple hats, strong enthusiasm for AI agents, and commitment to work from the Presidio office five days a week. US work authorization required; O-1 or J-1 sponsorship may be available for exceptional candidates.

Design end-to-end, multi-platform experiences for AI agent creation and collaboration. Develop interaction patterns, design systems, prototypes using real AI models, and motion/micro-interactions. Partner with engineering, conduct user research, validate designs with prototypes, and influence product strategy to make complex AI capabilities feel intuitive and delightful.

Senior individual contributor who provides architectural leadership and ships production code. Design scalable, multi-tenant agent/LLM systems, define reliability/observability (SLOs, tracing, incident response), review major PRs, and implement high-impact infrastructure decisions for a small engineering team.
