Manage a team of 3–5 engineers, set technical direction, review opto-mechanical designs and analyses, oversee STOP analysis, alignment budgets, MGSE, environmental testing, and qualification deliverables. Coordinate with systems, optical, AIT, electronics, satellite integration teams, and external partners across payload development programs.

Lead large-scale computer vision and machine learning initiatives for geospatial intelligence products. Own technical roadmaps, lead and mentor applied scientists, design and deploy production ML pipelines, and develop scalable models across satellite sensors, geographies, and seasons. Responsibilities include experimentation, architecture design, monitoring, A/B testing, stakeholder communication, hiring, publications, and technical innovation involving transformers, generative models, temporal modeling, self-supervised learning, and multimodal fusion.

Design, analyze, optimize, and validate precision optical systems for Earth observation satellite payloads. Responsibilities include optical requirements definition, Zemax modeling, tolerancing, stray-light mitigation, manufacturing and opto-mechanical integration support, testing, documentation, and vendor coordination. The role supports designs from concept through manufacturing, integration, and verification while balancing technical, schedule, and budget constraints.

Build and operate scalable full-stack geospatial applications using React, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, PostGIS, and AWS. Own features end to end, develop APIs and user interfaces, optimize databases and application performance, deploy infrastructure, write automated tests, maintain CI/CD and observability, participate in on-call support, and collaborate with product, data, and geospatial teams.

Lead quality assurance and quality control for space optical and electronic payloads. Conduct hardware inspections, oversee thermal vacuum, vibration, shock, and EMI/EMC testing, enforce cleanroom and ESD protocols, maintain NCR, RCA, CAPA, traceability, and configuration records, interpret aerospace standards, and audit suppliers. Coordinate subcontractors, collaborate with satellite platform teams, manage performance budgets, and drive feasibility studies and future optical payload technology programs.

Design, build, and operate multi-cloud Kubernetes infrastructure supporting ML platforms, LLM inference, data pipelines, and developer tooling. Own Terraform and Helm automation, GitOps deployments, cluster operations, observability, reliability, FinOps, security governance, and internal platform standards. Partner with engineering and data science teams to scale workloads, optimize cloud costs, define SLOs, and lead incident response across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
