Develop Python tools and frameworks for satellite hardware validation, automate electronic circuit and prototype tests, interface with satellite subsystems, maintain physical test benches, and support scalable production monitoring systems. The role combines software development, hardware integration, electronics testing, quality assurance, and manufacturing test reliability.

Manage the optical payload manufacturing lifecycle from procurement through launch. Serve as the manufacturing facility’s optical payload contact, design experiments and verification plans, develop automated hardware and software for laboratory measurements and data analysis, maintain manufacturing engineering documentation, improve production procedures, and coordinate with vendors. The role requires optical or opto-mechanical systems experience, hardware troubleshooting and repair, Linux, Python, Git, and fluent Spanish and English.

Develop and implement software acceptance and test tools for satellite production. Analyze requirements, understand test cases, build manufacturing-ready test frameworks, incorporate production feedback, and ensure solution quality and reliability. Collaborate with electronics, mechanical, flight software, manufacturing, and AIT engineers in an on-site, multidisciplinary environment.

Designs and owns cloud-to-on-premises migration strategies for satellite ground segment infrastructure. Responsibilities include defining architecture, identifying AWS replacements, specifying hardware and facilities, supporting customer proposals and deployments, creating migration tooling and documentation, and delivering operational training. The role serves as the technical authority throughout customer deployments, coordinating with IT, engineering, mission operations, sales, and project management while regularly traveling internationally to customer sites.

Design, document, and validate electronic hardware and harnesses for satellites. Develop tests and validation procedures, review PCBs for manufacturability and space qualification, liaise with manufacturers, and propose design improvements and guidelines.

Lead optical payload subsystem design and verification: define and manage payload requirements and technical budgets (SNR, MTF, radiometry), perform optoelectronics trade studies, create verification and AIT plans, oversee manufacture and integration, support operations, and manage anomalies and NCRs while interfacing with cross-disciplinary teams.

Designs, executes, and analyzes orbital maneuvers; monitors satellite orbits and pointing performance; generates precise ephemerides; develops automated satellite maintenance tools; supports Space Situational Awareness; and assists with launch commissioning, tracking strategies, communications, and subsystem calibration.
